i had a 71 short box 2wd came original with 6 cyl. i built it using stock parts from the junkyard, with 327 3 speed. it would pull the front wheels off the ground but only do 90 mph top speed. not original but all stock parts no rebuilds or high performance mods. swapped it for a 70 nova.
